Hey there ladies and gents, I'm MissHighAsHonor but clanmates call me Honor or Wash (gamer ID) while in-game. I've been a Halo fan since the OG came out when I was little, I remember my dad switching from PS2 to the OG Xbox JUST so we could play Halo because back then it was by far the most badass game in our eyes. And it hasn't really changed my opinion on it since then. It's revolutionary in the gaming industry, it's grown more competitive year after year, and it has an entire CULTURE and expansive universe behind it that is gripping and fascinating in all of the best ways possible.
I'm a 24-year-old female from the West Coast who is currently in the United States Navy doing some pretty cool and fun stuff with planes as a Naval Flight Officer (yes, like Goose from Top Gun). So at times I can be incredibly busy and overwhelmed, but as hopefully anyone in this Company can tell you, I put a lot of my time and heart in making sure we run as smoothly as possible. I'm always looking for new ways to freshen it up and make it better and I am very open to as many suggestions as you lovely folk can throw my way.
Now, I am a little bit of a nerd. Yes, a little bit. Anyone here would tell you I'm kind of into Star Wars. Well, they might say it more strongly but I like to call myself the resident Star Wars expert because I probably know way too much and more then I really should. BUT HOW CAN I HELP IT? I mean come on, it's friggin Star Wars! It takes all of twelve parsecs for me to switch between Halo gaming mode and Star Wars nerd mode (I'm just kidding, we all know parsecs is a measurement of DISTANCE, not time, silly George).
Going back to Halo, real quick because I'm already starting to ramble (I kind of like to write, I APOLOGIZE), I started playing multiplayer on Halo 4 in college and was instantly hooked. I'm insanely competitive by nature so any chance I have to use my competitive spirit is a plus for me. When Halo 5 came out I played it RELIGIOUSLY, every single effing day I was on it, playing multiplayer breakout and swat and trying to get better. Cause everybody wants to be a Champion right? Since then I've still been grinding, game after game trying to learn from mistakes, watch videos of other competitive players to pick up new tricks and tips to make myself better, and overall just get closer and closer to that top tier that I know I won't ever be a part of. But you can bet your ass I'm going to keep trying nonetheless.
That was one hell of a long introduction of myself, and again my bad. Please feel free to introduce yourself as well!
